It's the ultimate time-saver, whether you need to quickly switch between viewing your team's schedule, focusing on specific projects, or just want the calendar to look exactly the way you like it.

Custom Views allow you to save your favorite filters, resources, calendar sources, and display settings, creating a more efficient and personalized scheduling experience for everyone.

How to Create Your First Custom View

Ready to build a view that’s tailored just for you? It’s easy!

  1. Go to Your Calendar: Navigate to the Calendar module from the main menu.

  2. Open the Controls Panel: On the right side of the calendar, click to open the Calendar Controls panel. This is your command center for customization.

  3. Create Your Perfect Setup: Now for the fun part! Adjust any of the settings to your liking:

    • Calendar Sources & Resources: Select specific calendars, users, or resources (like meeting rooms) to display.

    • Filters: Apply any filters you need, such as viewing events by deal stage or contact type.

    • Settings: Change the display format, time zone, or what information appears on your event labels.

  4. Save Your Masterpiece: Once everything looks right, click the Back button on the control panel. You’ll see a Save as new view button appear. Click it, give your view a memorable name (like "My Team's Weekly Plan"), and save it.

That's it! You'll be taken directly to your newly created Custom View, with all your settings perfectly preserved.

Managing Your Custom Views

Your Custom Views are smart! By default, any changes you make while in a custom view are auto-saved, so your view is always up-to-date. However, you have two great options for more control:

1. Disable Auto-Save for Temporary Changes

Don't want every little tweak to be saved automatically? No problem.

  • Simply disable the Auto-Save toggle for that view.

  • Now, a Save to view button will appear whenever you make a change, giving you the choice to save it manually.

Example: You're in your "Team A - Weekly" view and want to test a different time format without messing up your saved settings. Just turn off auto-save, experiment freely, and only save the change if you love it.

2. Save Changes as a New View

Love your current view but want to create a new version with a few additions?

  • Instead of saving over your original view, just click Save to new view.

  • You'll be prompted to give this new version a name.

Example: You're using your "Sales Calendar" view and decide to add a filter for "Q3 Contacts." Instead of changing your original, you can save this new setup as "Sales Calendar – Q3 Contacts," giving you two distinct views to switch between.

By using Custom Views, you and your team can stay organized, efficient, and focused on what matters most, all within a calendar that works just for you.
