Let's head back to the Policy Group headquarters to make your adjustments.
Start at Settings from your main menu.
Navigate to Administration.
Select Policy Group.
You'll see your full list of policies, ready for you to refine.
Choose Your Policy to Update
Scan the list for the Policy Group you want to edit. To open the editing window, you have two simple options:
Click the Edit icon (which looks like a pencil) next to the policy's name.
Click the three vertical dots (⋮) menu and select "Edit" from the dropdown.
This will open the "Edit Policy Group" window, which will look very familiar!
The Workshop - Adjusting Your Permissions
Now you're ready to make your changes. The process is just like when you created the policy.
Find the Right Rule: Use the panel on the left to navigate to the module you want to adjust (e.g., find Deals under the CRM category).
Add or Modify Permissions: Click "Add Permission" (or a similar button) to open the permissions window for that module.
-
Rewrite the Rules:
Check or uncheck the boxes to grant or revoke specific actions.
Use the "Allow All" or "Deny All" buttons for quick, sweeping changes.
Add new permissions or remove existing ones to get the balance just right.
Lock In Your Updates!
Once you've finished making all your desired changes, click the "Update" (or "Save") button, usually located at the bottom right.
That's it! Your Policy Group has been successfully updated, and the new rules will apply to all users assigned to that group.
