By enabling this feature, you can ensure that important data your team enters is never lost. It adds a simple, friendly confirmation pop-up when a user tries to navigate away from a page with unsaved changes. This small step is a powerful safeguard in a fast-paced sales environment, protecting your team's progress and ensuring data integrity.

It only takes a moment to set up this valuable protection for your branch.

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.

  2. Click on Branch, and then head into Branch Settings.

  3. In the Branch Settings section, locate the Discard Prompt area.

  4. Use the toggles to enable the prompts that best suit your team's workflow.

Please note: Only users with the necessary access permissions can adjust these branch-level settings.

Understanding Your Discard Prompt Options

The settings you enable here will be applied universally to all users within the branch, creating a consistent and safer user experience. You have two prompts you can activate:

Form Discard Prompt

Flick this switch on to display a warning prompt when a user attempts to leave a form (like on a contact, deal, or company record) that has unsaved changes. This is the perfect way to prevent valuable notes and data entry from being lost by mistake.

Custom View Discard Prompt

Enable this toggle to activate a prompt when a user tries to navigate away from a custom view (such as a filtered list or a personalized layout) after making unsaved edits. It ensures that the time spent creating the perfect view doesn't go to waste.
