Branch Settings: Manage Activity

By setting smart defaults, you can eliminate repetitive setup tasks, reduce manual errors, and ensure everyone on your team is operating from the same playbook. Imagine every meeting automatically booking the right duration, or every task having a preset reminder. It’s all about working smarter, not harder, and giving your team more time to focus on what matters: building relationships and closing deals.

Getting your branch's activities standardized is quick and easy:

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main menu.

  2. Click on Branch, and then head into Branch Settings.

  3. In the Branch Settings section, find and click on the Manage Activity area to begin.

Please note: Only users with the necessary access permissions can configure these branch-level settings.

Customizing Your Default Activity Settings

In the Manage Activity section, you can define the default behavior for all key activity types, ensuring a uniform experience for everyone.

Set defaults for:

  • Task

  • Call

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Meeting

For each of these activities, you can fine-tune the following options to create the perfect starting point for your team:

  • Default Duration: Set a standard length of time (e.g., 30 minutes for a call, 1 hour for a meeting).

  • Availability: Automatically mark users as "Available" or "Unavailable" on their calendar during the activity.

  • Default Result: Choose a default outcome for when an activity is completed (e.g., "Completed," "Left Voicemail").

  • Visibility on Calendar: Decide if activities should appear on the user's calendar by default.

  • Send Guest Invitations: Automatically send email invitations to guests for meetings.

  • Prompt for Result: Enable a pop-up that prompts users to log an outcome when they complete an activity.

Never Miss a Beat with Default Reminders

Ensure critical follow-ups are never forgotten by setting up automatic reminders for any activity.

  • Type: Choose how the reminder is delivered (In-App Notification or Email).

  • Time & Unit: Define when the reminder is sent (e.g., 15 minutes before, 1 hour before, 1 day before).

  • Use the + Add Reminder button to create multiple layers of reminders for ultimate peace of mind!

The Perfect Balance: Branch Consistency, Personal Flexibility

We believe in creating a system that works for everyone. While these branch-level settings establish a powerful and consistent baseline for your team, every user is still in control of their own workflow.

Individual team members can visit their Personal Settings to override any of the branch defaults. If a salesperson prefers 45-minute calls instead of the branch's 30-minute default, they can easily make that change for their account. Their personal preference will always take precedence.

This approach delivers the best of both worlds: a highly efficient, standardized process for the branch, with the personal freedom each user needs to excel.
