How to Create an Activity Type

An Activity Type gives you the power to configure and customize how every interaction—like calls, meetings, and follow-ups—is categorized and tracked. Think of it as your central hub for creating a clear and consistent process for your entire team.

By customizing these settings, you get a crystal-clear view of all your team's activities, improve the accuracy of your reporting, and ensure everyone follows the same streamlined workflow. This keeps your team organized, efficient, and perfectly aligned!

Creating an Activity Type

  1. Click on "Settings", then "Customization."

  2. Click on "Modules", then click on "Activity".

  3. Click on "Settings" under Activity.

  4. Click on the "Activity Type" tab to see the Activity Type list.

  5. In the center, the following Activity Types are already created:

    • Meeting

    • Email

    • SMS

    • Call

    • Task

  6. At the top-right of the page, click the "New Activity Type" button.
    This will open the "Add Activity Type" window.

  7. Enter the activity name.

  8. Select a parent activity type.

  9. Use the color picker to set the Activity Color.

  10. Choose an icon for the activity type or click the "Upload Icon" button to add your own image in PNG, JPEG, or JPG format.

  11. Click the "Save" button to save the Activity Type.

  12. The newly created Activity Type will be listed on the Activity Type list page.

How to Delete an Activity Type

  1. Click on "Settings", then "Customization."

  2. Click on "Modules", then click on "Activity".

  3. Click on "Settings" under Activity.

  4. Click on the "Activity Type" tab to see the Activity Type list.

  5. When you hover over the number sequence, it will change to a checkbox. Clicking the checkbox will reveal the "Delete Activity Types" button on the right side. Alternatively, you can click the three vertical dot icon next to a custom activity type to edit or delete it.
