How to Create a New Activity Type?
Go to Settings
Open the "Settings" menu from your home screen.
Customization
Navigate to the "Customization" section.

Modules
Click on the "Modules" option under "Customization".
Activity
Click on the "Activity" option under "Modules".
Settings
Select "Settings" to configure activity details.
Activity Type
Go to the "Activity Type" tab.
New Activity Type
Click on "New Activity Type" button in the top right hand corner to create a new activity type.
Add Activity Type Name
Enter a name for your new activity type (e.g., "Follow-up Call" or "Demo Scheduled").
Select Parent Activity Type
Choose a parent category from the drop-down options.
Select Activity Type Color
Pick a color to visually distinguish your activity type.
Pick an Icon
Choose an icon from the available options or upload a custom one.
Save
Click "Save", and your new activity type is ready to use!
Editing an Existing Activity Type
Need to update an existing activity type? You can modify names, icons, colors, and parent categories anytime!
🔹 Go to Settings > Customization > Modules > Activity > Settings > Activity Type
🔹 Use the ellipsis (•••) menu to select "Edit" for the activity type you want to edit.
🔹 Make the necessary changes.
🔹 Click "Update", and you’re all set!
Deleting an Activity Type
Want to remove an activity type that’s no longer relevant? Smackdab.ai makes it easy!
🔹 Go to Settings > Customization > Modules > Activity > Settings > Activity Type
🔹 Click on the ellipsis (•••) next to the activity type.
🔹 Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
🔹 A confirmation pop-up will appear. Simply click "Delete" to finalize the removal.
Changed your mind? No worries! Just hit "Cancel" to keep the activity type.!
