How to show active session

Manage Active Sessions for Enhanced Security

Ever wanted to see where and when your account is being accessed? The Manage Session screen gives you a real-time view of all active logins across your team, providing transparency and an extra layer of security for your Smackdab account.

This powerful tool lets you verify legitimate sessions and remotely end any that seem suspicious, ensuring your data stays protected.

How to View Your Active Sessions

Getting to the right place is easy.

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Choose the Security Center.

  3. Click on Manage Session.

You will now see a detailed list of all current login sessions.

What You'll See

For every active session, Smackdab provides helpful details so you can easily identify each login. This includes:

  • Device Information: See what kind of device is being used (e.g., desktop, mobile).

  • Location: View the IP address and geographical region for the session.

  • Time and Date: Know exactly when the user logged in.

  • Browser and OS: See which browser (like Chrome or Firefox) and operating system (like Windows or macOS) was used.

Special Privileges for Admins

If you are an administrator, you have enhanced control over your team's security:

  • View All Sessions: You can see the active sessions for every user in your organization, not just your own.

  • Remotely Disconnect Users: If you see a session that you don't recognize or need to end for security reasons, simply click the Disconnect button next to it. This will immediately log that user out of Smackdab.

Finding What You Need

  • Search: Use the search bar to quickly find all active sessions for a specific user.

  • Sort: Click the up/down arrows on any column header to sort the list and organize the data your way.

A Quick Note on Security: For your protection, Smackdab automatically ends all sessions after 30 days. This means users will be asked to log in again, ensuring all active connections are current and secure.
